Gaber goes to his village to bury his mother despite being sentenced to a year's banishment. Muhra feels dizzy, and the doctor says she is pregnant. Gaber turns himself in, refusing to implicate Sami, who promises to help him, but Gaber is sentenced to five years in prison.

Sami convinces Muhra that Gaber is guilty. Muhra tries to abort her baby. Sahar continues to relay Muhra's news to Zeidan, and Safiya finds out and asks Sahar to relay Zeidan's news to her. Gaber gets into a fight with one of the prisoners.

Muhra reverses her decision to have an abortion, but divorces Jaber. Zeidan suspects Adham wants to marry his sister Safaa and gives his blessing, though Safaa is hesitant because she knows about Adham's relationship with Zeidan's wife. Jaber agrees to work for an influential prisoner. Muhra agrees to marry Zeidan after she gives birth.

Safaa tells Yumna about Zeidan's relationship with Muhra, but fails to convince Muhra to leave him. Muhra leaves her old house, which leads her to Gaber, and moves with her two brothers to the house Zeidan has provided for her. Safaa tells Zeidan that she doesn't want to marry Adham. Several months later, Muhra is about to give birth and she doesn't know whose name to register her baby under.
