Being a princess, Stella, the Queen Mother insists, needs to learn subjects befitting a princess, such as polo, deportment and fencing. The principal agrees to provide these classes and instructs the teachers to quickly provide them. But Stella is furious when she discovers what's happened. Why do I have to do all these extra subjects? It's not fair. Her friends, however think it sounds fun and want to join in. Some of them even excel at these new Royal subjects. But when the Queen Mother learns that commoners are now taking Royal Lessons she comes storming back in and insists that the whole thing must stop.

A misunderstanding in assembly leads to Stella receiving her first ever Detention. While colluding with Snowy to hide the punishment from her parents, Stella is forced to consider the nature of loyalty and the perils of snitching.

A snide remark from the Mayor after a football match makes Stella realise that her dad NEVER takes off his crown... which is really embarrassing. So she convinces the King to take off his crown to come watch her next game. The thing is, King Bob's new look prompts a lot of uncomfortable questions from journalists and a rather irate reaction from the Queen Mother. When Stella tries to make things better, the nosy questions are suddenly directed at her. Why does Stella never wear her crown? Is she embarrassed to be a Royal? This prompts an identity crisis in Stella, who can't decide how she wants to present herself and what that means, no matter how many well-meaning talks she gets from her family. To wear a crown or not to wear a crown, what a dilemma.

Being seen playing with your parents in the park ranks very low on Stella's cool scale so when she's spotted by the cool crowd doing just that, she's certain her image is ruined forever. Who would have thought that sometimes fun is better than cool.

When Mr. Pee refuses to help out at Mrs. Oh's party, Stella and the royal family butler the event themselves - much to Mr. Pee's dismay.

When Stella's caught between Mia and Freya arguing, she has to bring all her diplomatic expertise into play to solve the argument. But is there still an argument to be solved?

Stella's exchange student is staying with her and OMG they have nothing in common. It's going to be the worst week ever unless Stella can figure out a way for them to get along.

King Bob is delighted to play the role of his ancestor King Roberto XIII in the re-enactment of The Battle for Blueberry Bush. But his insistence that eighteenth-century war was 'sort of a boys thing' enrages Stella, who vows to prove him wrong - not only by taking part, but by fighting against the King in the rebel ranks.
