With the help of artificial intelligence, Ginebra records a video posing as Berenice to kill Esteban. Esteban is about to be attacked on the street when Paz comes to his defense and they introduce themselves. Paz and Esteban tell each other the secrets of her past and he assures her that they will soon find the tranquility they long for.

Esteban confesses to Kenzo that he was impressed when he met Paz since she has something special and reveals that he wants to see her again. Before finishing off Elias, Ginebra confesses to him that Samara does not carry his blood since her real daughter died at birth. Paz accepts the job that Esteban proposed, he visits her at her house to talk to her about her responsibilities, but Fermín finds them together.

Fermín returns to Paz's life ready to win her back, he steals a kiss from her, but she slaps him. Samara is taken to a church where she is sworn that she will receive the necessary help, but her blanket escapes her and the situation becomes complicated. Mauro informs Geneva that he will no longer hear from Samara, she celebrates. Gala doesn't want to gain weight and to maintain her figure, she starts not eating.

'Gorila' forces Samara to steal so that she can enjoy food now that she lives on the street. Geneva reveals to Mauro that she only feels hatred for Elvira, since she does not believe in her suffering. Esteban reveals to Paz that he is afraid that Elvira will take her children away from him, so she suggests putting together a plan so that doesn't happen. Samara begins to ask for money on a bridge and crosses paths with Paz, who is impressed by her upon meeting her.

Elvira shows Gala the video that Berenice left before she died where she recognizes that Esteban deceived her, since he was only by her side because of her money. Elvira finds another video of Berenice where she declares that her mother only became a burden in her life. Paz arrives at Geneva's house to inform her that she saw her daughter asking for money, she confronts Mauro for lying to her. Paz arrives at the prison to bring Esteban some food and to inform him that her children believe in her innocence.

Esteban receives the news that he has regained his freedom, Paz congratulates him and he does not hesitate to hug her. Nandy confesses to Mireya that she feels very grateful for the support that her family gave her when she was going through very difficult times. Elvira recognizes in front of her grandchildren that Esteban is innocent and assures that someone is causing them a lot of harm. Ginebra starts working at Elvira's company and upon seeing Berenice's photograph she swears that she is going to stay with Esteban, after she took everything that belonged to him.

Elvira bursts into tears when she reveals that before Berenice, she had a daughter about whom she knows nothing; Geneva calls Elvira the worst mother in the world. Ginebra confesses to Mauro that Esteban worried about her, he begs him not to ruin her plans. Fermín demands that Rubio no longer approach Paz Roble, Ginebra is surprised to hear her name and questions him if that woman is the mother of her daughter.

Paz makes it clear to Elvira that because she is an employee, she is not going to allow her disrespect. In revenge, she throws away the food and asks her to leave the kitchen clean. Elvira, upon learning more details about Geneva's life, does not hesitate to remember the day her father snatched her newborn daughter from her arms. Elvira loses control while having a few glasses of wine and assures Guinevere that she could be her daughter. Paz listens to Mauro's conversation where she gives orders about what they should do to Sam now that he gets her back.

Elvira thanks Geneva for all her attention and shares that it hurts her to no longer have a daughter. Elvira makes Esteban believe that Paz put a substance in the pastries she prepared, he complains to her about wanting to harm her family and informs him that she will have all the food analyzed. After Jero rejected Gala for not having the same followers, she kissed Salo and asked him to be her boyfriend. Geneva questions Esteban about the possibility of rebuilding her life, he assures her that Berenice is her only and greatest love.

Fermín contacts Paz to give her the address of where Sam is and asks her to be very careful. Monito saves Luna and asks her best friend to find a blanket as well as a doctor to help him with the injury she has. Peace having Sam in her arms, she asks him to trust her since he is not going to allow anything bad to happen to her; Mauro gives up after not finding his niece. Paz takes Luna to her house and assures her entire family that she is willing to take care of her and love her as if she were her daughter.

Pedro Pablo reveals to Esteban that Bosco tried to harm him the day they organized the party at his house, he assures that he only wanted to take care of the belongings in the house. Ginebra records another video using artificial intelligence to impersonate Berenice and thus finish off Esteban and Elvira. Paz lives a very special moment with Luna, the little girl shares that she wishes she were her mother. Esteban questions Paz about the reason why she left work without telling him and asks her to trust him to vent.

Paz accepts the money that Fermín offers him and confesses that he rescued little Luna, he asks to meet her. Luna dreams that her friend Monito is in danger, so she decides to leave Paz's house to rescue him. Elvira invites Geneva to eat and takes the opportunity to take a saliva test to confirm if she carries her blood. Paz proposes to her sister to win Mauro's heart so she can learn about the plans she has against Sam.

Esteban confronts Elvira and assures her that if Salomón has good intentions with Gala, he is willing to support her courtship. Elvira receives a call where they ask for five million pesos; if she refuses, society will find out that she had a daughter before Berenice. Some hooded men enter Ginebra's house to steal everything from her, Esteban protects her from the thugs.

Paz does not allow any more humiliation from Bosco and confronts him, he reveals to his brothers that Paz almost kissed Esteban. Nandy opens her heart to Kenzo and confesses that she was born Fernando Galdeano, but now she is a trans woman. Mireya defends Salo from Elvira's humiliations; she offers him a large sum of money to keep him away from his granddaughter's life. Fobo gives Elvira the results of the DNA test and confirms that Ginebra is her daughter.

Paz gets nervous when Esteban takes her hands and confesses that he wants to live again, he agrees with her feelings. Esteban arrives at prison ready to meet the criminal who destroyed his family, Rubio accepts what he did to Berenice. Ginebra and Mauro celebrate that their plans against Elvira's family are working out just as they thought and they are sure that they will never discover that they are behind Berenice's death. Esteban talks to Salo about her romance with Gala and demands that he respect her since her daughter is no trophy.

Ginebra imagines a romantic moment with Esteban, but she knows that she should not fall in love with her.

Ginebra, knowing that Esteban will not rest until he returns Rubio to prison, advises him to forget about the case since it will harm him, but more so his children. Elvira, upon finding out that Nandy will work in her company, runs her; Esteban and Kenzo come to her defense. Paz accepts in front of the doctor that she is not Luna's mother and assures her that she had to lie to protect the life of her youngest and hers. Paz informs Luna that they must separate since she has to return to her mother's side. Fermín puts together a plan to get the minor out of the hospital.

Fermín manages to get Luna out of the hospital without the authorities discovering him, Paz is already waiting for him in the taxi to take the minor. Kenzo blames Filipa for her children hating him, so he warns her that she will fight for custody of them. After doing a live broadcast, Gala begins to receive messages about her weight, she questions her friend if she looks fat. Ginebra meets with the mothers who have missing children, she bursts into tears confessing that she is sure that her daughter died.

Lupita gets upset with Paz when she finds out how Luna was taken from the hospital; she assures her that she will blame herself when the authorities find her whereabouts. Esteban opens his heart to Lupita and confesses that he is beginning to fall in love with Paz, so he wants to talk to her to find out her feelings. Nandy can no longer hide her feelings from her and she reveals to Kenzo that she is in love with him. Esteban confesses to Paz that they both deserve to live, so she can't leave without giving him a kiss.

Paz is determined to face any obstacle that may arise now that she has agreed to be Esteban's partner. Gala reveals to Esteban that Rubio not only hurt her mother, he also messed with Paz, she confirms that that man sent her to the hospital. Ginebra is willing to give her all the money Filipa needs in exchange for her helping her in her money laundering business. Fermín assures Paz that her daughter will soon be at her side, she reveals that she imagines that Luna is the daughter they lost.

Lupita complains to Mireya for having gone to a hotel with Mauro, she reveals that she is willing to help her sister Paz. Esteban arrives at the house where he grew up to meet his father. Porfirio, upon seeing him, is filled with hatred and chases him away. He confesses to Paz that his cousin Humberto stole his land and the affection of the man who gave him life. Filipa forbids Nandy from entering the women's bathroom, Kenzo comes to her defense and suggests that Elvira take an inclusion course for all the company's workers. Esteban is eager to give Paz a kiss, but she asks him to be discreet; Elvira surprises them in the kitchen.

Ginebra arrives at Esteban's house to give Gala, Bosco and Eder some gifts, they are impressed with the details. Gala gets upset with her grandmother when she sees the way she refers to Paz and asks her to respect her. Mireya continues to help Paz, however, in her search to gather evidence she puts herself in danger when she is discovered by Mauro. Elvira gets upset with Esteban for having left the company without telling her and asks Paz for an explanation for leaving with him.

Ginebra listens to Paz's conversation and questions her if the girl they found is her daughter. Gema thanks her aunt for all the support she is giving her so that Salo's family business remains closed, Lupita begs her for a little compassion. Ginebra confesses to Mauro that she will never forgive Berenice for growing up surrounded by luxury and with a family, while she suffered on the street. Upon confirming that Paz is in a relationship with Esteban, Ginebra warns Filipa that she plans to destroy her new enemy.

Ginebra confesses to Mauro that she has no mercy to get Paz out of her way, since she had no remorse when it came to her sister Berenice. Paz asks her family to hide Luna, the little girl remembers that her mother's name is Ginebra and wants to meet her again. Paz makes up a story for Ginebra so that she can't enter her house, she suspects that she is hiding something about her from him and begs her to help him put up posters of her daughter all over the neighborhood. Paz denies having a romantic relationship with Esteban, but Ginebra asks him to tell her the truth since sooner or later things will come out.

Paz warns Esteban that he has seen strange attitudes in Gala that could indicate that she suffers from an eating disorder. Ginebra goes to the neighborhood party and meets Sam alone; Despite wearing a mask, she seems strangely familiar to him. Sam discusses with Paz her desire to question Ginebra to find out how she ended up living on the streets. Ginebra remembers her encounter with 'Chema' and realizes that it could have been Sam, deducing that Paz has her hidden, and she confronts Mauro about it.

Elvira gets upset with Esteban when she finds out that he started a relationship with Paz and warns him that she is not going to allow the cook to take Berenice's place. Monica reveals to Paz that Ginebra and Mauro put something in her drink to make her confess the truth, but she is sure that Sam is in danger with them.

Upon hearing her real name, Luna remembers the hard times she lived with Ginebra and reveals to Paz the achievements of her mother. Ginebra assures Elvira that Paz is a dangerous woman since she suspects that she may be behind Sam's disappearance. Elvira threatens Esteban with firing him from the company if he refuses to hire Paz as the house cook, he does not fall for her blackmail and is willing to leave with his children. Mauro warns Mireya that if she or Paz don't let them find his niece Sam, he is willing to end his entire family.

Suspicioning that Paz may have Samara, Ginebra threatens Fermín with harming him so that he reveals the truth; He manages to convince them that Paz does not have her daughter. Fobo tries to comfort Elvira with a hug, she asks him not to show her affection since she does not want to confuse him and even more so now that she does not accept Esteban's relationship with Paz. Fermín does not want Paz to be happy with Esteban, so he proposes to Ginebra to join forces to destroy them. Elvira objects to sharing her house with Paz's family, Esteban warns her that he is not going to allow them to leave, but Ginebra surprises them with her announcement.

Ginebra dreams that she is experiencing a romantic moment with Esteban, but it is clear that he only loves Paz. Ginebra causes Paz to break some fine glasses, Elvira does not hesitate to humiliate her and warns her that Esteban is going to end up leaving her. Esteban gets upset with Ginebra taking Bosco to jail to confront Berenice's criminal, Elvira comes to her defense and asks him to respect her since she is part of her family. Fermín meets Ginebra again and she confesses her intention to take 'Monito'; he refuses because he is his daughter's best friend and could get him into trouble with Paz. Humberto becomes present in Esteban's life and he feels envy when he sees the relationship he has with Porfirio. After inviting him to stay for a few days, Humberto proposes that he prove that he can manage the land and thus he will disappear forever. Ginebra plans her revenge against Elvira with Mauro. Paz begins to suspect Nicoliti's intentions and her fear takes over when he asks to meet her. Ginebra asks for help to find her daughter and through hints causes Paz to fear being accused of taking her away.

Given Gema's warnings, Salo keeps his word and ends his fake romance with Gala. Questioning him about her decision, he lies about her feelings. Fobo gets closer to Elvira again, but she confesses that she has suffered a lot and that her heart has been broken since Berenice's departure. Esteban plans a romantic night with Paz and in the middle of a romantic date he asks her to take the next step in their relationship. Ginebra and Mauro use the microphone and fake a conversation about how much they miss Samara. Mireya hears everything and they doubt Nicoliti's innocence.

Esteban surprises Paz with a dinner, he is romantic by giving her the recipe for love and they both let themselves be carried away by the love they feel. Jero is responsible for confirming to Gala that Salo does not love her since he cheated on her with Gema. She is disappointed and assures him that she prefers to be alone. Ginebra accepts in front of Paz that she is interested in Esteban and warns him that her happiness will not be for long. Upon meeting Rubio again, Lupita warns him not to dare hurt her daughters; he does not doubt her by threatening to harm her family.

Lupita confesses to Paz that Rubio was the one who attacked her on Fermín's orders, she confronts him, but he denies everything. Mauro hears that Mireya is starting to have feelings for him, so she plans to use it to her advantage. Ginebra accepts in front of Esteban that she is in love with him and warns him that we have to wait to see what happens with her relationship with Paz.

Paz and her family are detained, she reveals to Esteban that she had Ginebra's daughter under her protection, but everything has an explanation. Esteban reproaches Paz for her lies and assures her that she confronted her children and Elvira for defending her love, but in the end they were right. Ginebra manages to meet with her daughter Sam and assures her in front of the police that she longed to hear her voice, since she spent many days mourning her absence. Paz, left alone in prison, is attacked by her security personnel and they warn her that she is going to pay dearly for what she did.

Esteban confronts Mauro when he learns of the plans he had against Sam. Ginebra makes it clear to Esteban that Paz and her family wanted to keep her daughter Sam and for this reason they caused the accident so that she would forget her past. Esteban finds out that the lawyer he appointed for the case of Paz and her family has given up, so now there is no one to defend them. Paz comes to Sam's defense and assures Ginebra that she is the bad guy for all the harm she did to Sam; Ginebra slaps her.

Mauro assures Sam that he loves her and is incapable of harming her. She makes it clear that she only trusts Paz's family, so she asks him to help them. Esteban shows Kenzo some documents that make him suspect that Ginebra is responsible for Sam's disappearance. Ginebra slaps Filipa for stealing her attention and reveals that she helped her have another child just so Kenzo would stay by her side. Paz regrets having involved innocent people in Sam's affair and blames herself for Dr. Monica's death.

Humberto offers Esteban his help as a lawyer to get Paz and her family out of jail. He gives him documents to prove his girlfriend's innocence. Gala gives her father a spy doll to give to Sam, with the intention of checking if Ginebra and Mauro harm him. Ginebra prepares her “favorite dinner” for Sam, but the little girl assures Paz that she prepared some pancakes with fruit that were delicious, Ginebra gets upset. Humberto introduces himself to Paz and is shocked to see her beautiful eyes. Esteban asks him to focus on helping her get out of jail, but he makes an announcement that could change her life.

Gala reproaches her grandmother for being a closed-minded woman since she has no doubt that she also made mistakes in her youth. Humberto assures Esteban that he needs malice to face this situation, so he proposes to seduce Ginebra. Esteban tells Ginebra that he wants to verify that the woman he has proven to be is who she really is, so he asks her to tell him about her past. Esteban assures Ginebra that he is getting closer to her to understand her since if he is innocent, he would like to know the truth.

Esteban and Gala witness Ginebra's evil against Sam and confirm that Paz always spoke the truth.

Esteban confirms that Ginebra broke up with her husband Elías and that he is next on her list. Esteban faces Ginebra's evil and she is forced to attack him since she is not going to allow him to denounce her and end up imprisoned. Ginebra warns Esteban that she wants him for herself so she demands that he break up with Paz. He assures her that he would rather be dead than be her partner.

Esteban and his family are victims of an attack after trying to flee the evil of Ginebra. Esteban complains to Ginebra for having messed with his family, she assures him that if he wants to save them, he will have to end his relationship with Paz. Tuca arrives at Paz's cell to complain to him for having taken away her job in the kitchen; Paz warns him not to mess with her. Under pressure to save her family, Esteban visits Paz in prison and announces that her relationship is over.

Esteban reveals to Paz that he only saw her as a game and got carried away by the moment; Paz, feeling humiliated, slaps him. Ginebra visits Paz in jail to inform her that Sam hates her since she testified against her and she is willing to tell the truth to contradict her lie. Mauro reveals to Ginebra that she injected Esteban with an animal tracker and this way they will know where she is and they will be able to intervene all the information that is around her. Bosco is very concerned about Gala's situation so he asks her if she has an eating disorder to which she answers yes.

Paz tells Humberto that she has already been betrayed by two men who swore their love for her, so she is not willing to fall into another game and asks him to only focus on getting her out of jail. Esteban assures Gala that Ginebra is a good mother, it's just that she is a victim of the circumstances that her life has presented to him. Esteban confronts Ginebra for being responsible for Berenice's death since he is sure that he was only interested in killing his wife to take over the family fortune. Ginebra challenges Esteban and asks him to kiss her as if she were Paz and only then will she stop threatening her family.

Ginebra is determined to end Cobija, but the arrival of Elvira, Sam and 'Monito' ruins her plans.

Elvira is upset to see that Paz is free and does not hesitate to insult her. Esteban comes to her defense and prevents security from removing her from the company. Gala turns to her networks and confesses to all of her followers that she has eating problems since for many years she was obsessed with her weight. Paz agrees to return to work at Esteban's house just because of Gala's situation and warns him that her relationship will only be work-related, she returns her promise ring to him. Sam asks Ginebra for help to save 'Cobija' since from one moment to the next she stopped breathing, she enjoys seeing the suffering of her daughter.

Paz warns Esteban that she is determined to forget him, he begs her not to, but Ginebra calls him to threaten him. Fobo asks Elvira for an opportunity to conquer her, she accepts, but she fears not reciprocating it. Humberto surprises Paz with a bouquet of flowers, she warns him that she cannot reciprocate since she is still in love with Esteban.

Esteban shows Gala a scale with which they will monitor her weight and assures her that he, the doctor and she are the only ones who will have that information. Ginebra lets Eder know that 'Monito' is a street child and warns him to be careful of him, since she could cause him harm. Eder defends Paz and assures Ginebra that it was her idea for Sam to have a cell phone and asks him not to scold her.

Upon witnessing Gala's suffering, Paz assures her that she wants to become her second mother to always take care of her. Ginebra breaks the portrait with Berenice's photo as part of her intimidation of Esteban. Elvira, upon hearing the scandal, arrives at her office and asks for an explanation. Mauro opens up to Mireya and shares that she had a very hard childhood since he grew up in the sewers with her sister, Ginebra. Nandy is excited to process her documents to change her gender identity, but in the offices she is the victim of humiliation.

Esteban confronts Humberto upon learning that he is interested in Paz, he assures him that he will not allow him to see her as an adventure. Ginebra reveals to Rubio that if he continues working for her he will know how to reward him financially very well, but before that he must get Fermín out of his way.

After mocking Esteban's attempts at justice, Ginebra told Elvira that she has financial problems. The millionaire offered her support, but the villain ended up complaining about her lack of support in the company and her delay in recognizing her as her daughter. Wanting Elvira to relax, Fobo invited her to a dynamic so that they could both get closer. The love they feel led them to be very close, without imagining that Eder would enter the room and that she would almost see them kiss. Upon knowing that Ginebra has hurt Samara again, Paz did not contain her anger and took advantage of the presence of her rival in her restaurant to give her a painful slap. The villainess also listened to the strong warnings of Esteban's ex-girlfriend. Full of anger because of the slap she received and because of the closeness she has with Samara, Ginebra issued a strong threat to Paz. The villain clarified that this time she would stop at nothing and that she would be able to finish her completely.

Paz takes advantage of the fact that she is alone with Fermín to confront him about the possibility that she has sold her daughter to get out of her debts.

Esteban extends his support to Elvira after learning her secret, she implores him to reciprocate the love of his daughter Ginebra. Sam and 'Monito' discover that Ginebra has a baby in her possession, but Mauro prevents them from getting close to the newborn. Gema tries to humiliate Gala with her illness, but she stops her by assuring her that she must create a video to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Paz admits to Esteban that Humberto was the person who helped her restaurant reopen, for which she feels very grateful. Ginebra celebrates that Paz has followed her orders through Esteban and makes it clear that she would invite her to dinner with her family, but she cannot share the table with an employee.

Ginebra threatens Paz to make her life hell, she assures him that she is not afraid and mocks him by telling him that she is in need of company. Paz breaks down in tears when she learns that Esteban and Ginebra are engaged, Elvira gives her daughter her blessing for the step she is going to take. Esteban tries to explain to Paz the reason why he decided to marry Ginebra, but she refuses to listen to him. Paz listens to Ginebra's conversation, where she forces Esteban to get married in three weeks.

Esteban, feeling harassed by Ginebra, goes crazy and assures Kenzo that everyone is in danger. He tries to find out what is happening to his friend. Gala informs Jero and Bosco that she will close her social networks since she wants to start a new life and she plans to change her look. Nandy finally receives the official documents that accredit her as a woman, Paz and her entire family congratulate her. Ginebra threatens to poison Sam if Esteban refuses to invite Paz to her wedding.

Esteban manages to communicate with Paz to inform her that he found his daughter María and it will be at his wedding with Ginebra where he can meet her again. Paz prevents Esteban from marrying a woman he does not love and in front of all her guests, he challenges him to tell her that he has no feelings for her. Elvira, knowing that Paz is about to reunite with her daughter, wishes her that all the love she has is only for María and assures her that miracles exist. Mauro and Ginebra put together a whole plan so that Paz can meet her daughter, but Humberto asks her to be cautious, since they are not sure that she is María.

Paz complains to Max's supposed parents for having stolen their daughter and assures them that they had no right to destroy a mother's life. Gala confesses to Jero that she has never been with any man, he begins to seduce her and assures her that he is willing to teach her. Gio manages to get revenge on Bosco and accuses him of touching her in anger, he denies her accusations since the last thing he remembers is that she was hurting him. Gala is filled with pain when she remembers the criticism that Jero gave her and in a fit of anger she gets hurt by her, but Esteban manages to get her to safety.

Humberto gives Paz the results of the DNA test and confirms that Max is his daughter. Gio accuses Bosco of touching her without her consent. Paz tries to gain the trust of her daughter Max and reveals to her what happened the day she was born, but she does not listen to reason and shows a rebellious attitude. Gio reveals to Esteban and Elvira what Bosco did to her the night before at her house, she threatens to report him, but Ginebra has another plan in her hands. Humberto does not hesitate to give Paz all his support now that he has found her daughter and shows her what he feels for her with a kiss.

Ginebra discovers Gio's obsession with Bosco and assures him that she is willing to see his reach so that his fall hurts him much more. Paz says goodbye to Max and assures him that her heart will always be open to her, her youngest thanks him and asks for forgiveness for her bad behavior. Ginebra hurts Eder so that Esteban doesn't make fun of her, Elvira believes that Paz is the culprit for preparing the food without the greatest care of her. Ginebra questions Mauro about what she talked about with Fermín, but knowing that she is lying to him, she warns him that he should not dare betray her.
