YEE-MAN prepares breakfast for all family members and everybody is happy just like before. LAM FAT returns to the TV station and his colleague EVA comes to ask for help. LAM FAT always helps others to tackle their problems but he doesn’t know how to solve his own. LAM FAT informs AH-NUI that he cannot check out the new flat with him so AH-NUI invites YEE-MAN to go with him. YEE-MAN tries to help bargaining for a good price for AH-NUI but he makes the situation even worse. YUEN-HAN wants to go to the airport to pick up his husband WAI-TING but the secretary of Shing Wing Cheung Company suddenly informs her that she could present their new promotional products to their boss GARY in the afternoon… Just when WAI-TING arrives at the airport, a sexy lady MEI-YEE suddenly asks him for help. Before WAI-TING makes any response, a man suddenly captures him. YU-CHU learns from her colleague that WAI-TING became embroiled in a fake gold case…

LAM FAT is captured by YU-CHU because of the fake gold case. LAM FAT reveals that he is innocent but YU-CHU thinks that he is not trustworthy. YEE-MAN and AH-NUI argue with each other on behalf of their children. AH-NUI suddenly faints and he is sent to the hospital. YEE-MAN and YU-CHU return home. YEE-MAN finds that YUEN-MAN is upset for TING-WAI tried to help a sexy lady in the airport and YEE-MAN tries to give suggestions to his son to make YUEN-MAN happy again. The optical shop owner Mr FOK introduces the new manager LEE CHI-KIT to everybody. TING-WAI is very disappointed for he thought that he would get promoted. Kwong Tak Pawn Shop is lack of manpower and YEE-MAN decides to hire one more staff. YU-CHU’s boyfriend LAP-SHUN buys desserts for her and he even helps YEE-MAN to repair the stuffs in the pawnshop. YEE-MAN regards him as a member of the family.… ...

All family members are surprised that YEE-MAN has hired the inexperienced YIP KWAI to work in the pawnshop. YEE-MAN reveals a past story to everyone and he hires YIP KWAI to pay a debt of gratitude. YEE-MAN starts teaching YIP KWAI about the works in the pawnshop. YIP-KWAI finds that the grace period of a golden necklace has expired so he tries to take it out for further arrangements. YEE-MAN and YU-CHU stop him immediately. They reveal that the necklace owner WONG FOOK-CHUEN will redeem the necklace once every year when he visits his wife’s grave. YU-PO fails in a number of job interviews and she tries to make excuses for her failure… YIP KWAI hurts his head and he is sent to the hospital. YU-CHU and LAM FAT discover that FOOK-CHUEN arrives in a pale face. LAM FAT helps his colleague EVA to fight for compensation from the food stall owner. Together with YU-CHU, he accidentally meets FOOK-CHUEN’s missing daughter YUET-WAH…

The KO’s family starts a family meeting to discuss if they should allow YIP KWAI to stay in their house. YEE-MAN decides to find a new place for YIP KWAI. YIP KWAI accompanies YEE-MAN to help tidying up LAM FAT’s new flat. AH-NUI is worried for some old photos are missing. YIP KWAI helps to search for the photos with LAM FAT. YEE-MAN goes to look for TING-WAI at the optical shop. He finds CHI-KIT bullying TING-WAI and he realizes that TING-WAI will not be promoted. All family members go to have buffet in a hotel. TING-WAI and YEE-MAN discover that CHI-KIT is bringing a mistress to the hotel. CHI-KIT suddenly asks TING-WAI to come to his hotel room for he wants TING-WAI to be a scapegoat. LAM FAT goes shopping with YU-CHU and YU-CHU suddenly receives a call from LAP-SHUN saying that he is working in China. However, she later discovers that LAP-SHUN is acting intimately with a woman on the street.… ...

The KO's family discuss YU-CHU's issue in a family meeting and they worry that YU-CHU will become very emotional after the breakup. YU-CHU is heart-broken and she tries to do cleaning overnight. YEE-MAN pretends that he is sick and he asks YU-CHU to stay home with him. The family members go to karaoke together and they hope that YU-CHU could sing her pain away... Since YIP KWAI arrives, all houseworks are well taken care of and everything becomes very tidy. LAM FAT and AH-NUI appreciate it very much. WAI-TING starts working in YUEN-HAN's office. YUEN-HAN's colleagues secretly gossip about him for they believe that WAI-TING gets the job just because of her wife and WAI-TING feels bad about it. WAI-TING, YUEN-HAN and a colleague go to set up in the exhibition venue but their colleague suddenly leaves for urgent matter. YUEN-HAN doesn't know how to set up everything on her own and she is very upset.… ...

LAM FAT misconceives that YIP KWAI is attacking him so he bites YIP KWAI's shoulder fiercely. YEE-MAN tries to console LAM FAT. AH-NUI suddenly reports that YIP KWAI is missing after stealing money in the pawn shop. While wondering if they should report the case to the police, YEE-MAN suddenly learns from the police that somebody has stolen YIP KWAI's money and YIP KWAI is injured. YEE-MAN and the others rush to the hospital and YIP KWAI reveals everything to them... YU-PO cheerfully announces to everybody that she has found a job and she wants to borrow YUEN-HAN's luxurious bag for work. WAI-TING immediately decides to give the bag to her and YUEN-HAN is upset. YU-PO resigns after working for one day only for she thinks that the work is too hard. It is rather surprising that YEE-MAN, YU-CHU and WAI-TING think that YU-PO has done nothing wrong.… ...

YUEN-HAN wants a divorce and she tries to pack up her belongings in the bedroom. YU-CHU tries to stop her and persuades her to stay. YUEN-HAN finally agrees to stay but the condition is WAI-TING should leave. WAI-TING wants to reunite with YUEN-HAN so he asks YEE-MAN for help but... YU-CHU will be transferred to Regional Crime Unit soon. While patrolling with her colleague, YU-CHU discovers the senior inspector of Regional Crime Unit KWOK-MING in a car and she goes to greet him loudly. KWOK-MING is actually carrying out his duty and this ruins their plan completely. YU-PO announces to everybody that she has found a new part-time job and she will become the personal assistant of the new singer PUI-YEE. YEE-MAN objects the idea while others think that YU-PO will lose interest in the job very soon and they persuade YEE-MAN to take it easy.… ...

YU-PO decides to join ”Super Idol” Singing Contest and everybody believes that it will be good for her. YU-PO goes to shop in a luxurious chocolate shop and she meets PUI-YEE there. PUI-YEE tries to humiliate her and YEE-MAN arrives to help. YU-CHU starts working in the Regional Crime Unit but she feels that she doesn't belong to the place. KWOK-MING asks everybody to pay attention to the wanted man CRIPPLE KENG. YU-CHU carries out investigation with her colleague CHI-WAI but she makes mistakes again. KWOK-MING doesn't want YU-CHU to continue working on the case so he asks her to take leave. YU-CHU learns from LAM FAT that he has got track of LUI KEUNG and she voluntarily asks to search for LUI KEUNG with him. While carrying out investigation with LAM FAT, YU-CHU meets a suspicious person who looks like CRIPPLE KENG very much.… ...

During the pre-screening interview of the singing contest, YEE-MAN and YU-CHU believe that YU-PO will not be selected. However, both YU-PO and YIP KWAI are selected unexpectedly. Actual contest sequence will be decided by drawing lots. YU-PO and YIP KWAI are assigned to be opponents unexpectedly. Both of them want to win so they decide to give their very best in it. YU-PO wants the whole family to attend the singing contest but she still needs two more tickets so she seeks help from LAM FAT. In order to maintain his reputation, LAM FAT promises to help but he encounters lots of obstacles... LAM FAT learns from the executive producer about the reason for choosing YU-PO and YIP KWAI. He reveals it to YU-CHU and they decide to give intensive training to both of them. On the contest day, YIP KWAI's awkward dance makes everybody laugh. On the other hand, YU-PO sings brilliantly. YIP KWAI worries that LUI KEUNG did not see him. LAM FAT encourages him to fight for championship so that he could reveal himself to LUI KEUNG during prime time. YEE-MAN tells LAM FAT that he wishes to go traveling with YU-PO for he worries that she will be depressed after losing the contest. However, they find that YU-PO is going to gym with WAI-LEUNG cheerfully. While driving YIP KWAI to the TV station, LAM FAT’s car is broken down. LAM FAT meets a woman in the TV station who looks like LUI KEUNG very much so he talks to her. YIP KWAI learns from LAM FAT that LUI KEUNG has died and he is devastated. He continues to perform miserably. When everybody is enjoying his extraordinary performance, YIP KWAI suddenly collapses…

The KO’s family organizes a barbecue gathering. YIP KWAI’s old schoolmate invites him to start a singing career in Malaysia but YIP KWAI rejects him for he doesn’t want to leave the KO’s family and friends in Hong Kong. YIP KWAI overhears LAM FAT and YU-CHU’s conversation by accident. The two families don’t really want YIP KWAI to stay with them without any financial contribution... WAI-TING and his wife are worrying about their promotional campaign. LAM FAT goes to buy ginseng but he doesn’t have enough cash. YU-CHU arrives on time to help him. YU-CHU finds that LAM FAT is taking a box back to the pawnshop secretly. When LAM FAT returns home, YU-CHU and YIP KWAI question him. LAM FAT reveals to them that the mother of his ex-girlfriend MARY is sick…

YU-PO starts working in YUEN-HAN’s company and her colleague NANCY orders her all the time for NANCY is very upset with the recent salary cuts. YU-PO is very tired after work. YEE-MAN and everybody treat her like a princess and YU-PO is deeply touched. KWOK-MING gives a list of missing items to Tak Kwong Pawn Shop and YIP KWAI discovers that they have got a missing necklace. While discussing the case, YU-CHU carelessly reveals that she is the pawnshop owner’s daughter. KWOK-MING believes that YU-CHU is familiar with the operation of pawnshops so he invites her to investigate the case together. YU-CHU tells everybody how smart KWOK-MING is when catching the thieves and everybody regards KWOK-MING as an extraordinarily good man. KWOK-MING invites YU-CHU to dinner in a high-class restaurant and YU-CHU tells everybody cheerfully. YEE-MAN reveals that he has checked KWOK-MING’s background already…

LAM FAT dreams of YU-CHU writing calligraphy on the street just like a beggar and he wakes up with a start. On the next day, LAM FAT dresses up in suit to visit YU-CHU at her office. He reveals that he has just won Mark Six and he announces that he will pursue YU-CHU. Everybody is shocked and YIP KWAI suddenly appears in a nice suit as well… YU-PO accidentally discovers a promotional leaflet for renting a unit in the commercial building. She believes that WAI-TING and his wife are planning to move out for they will get a big business soon. She cannot help to spread the news to her colleagues and YEE-MAN… WAI-TING and his wife meet an old schoolmate PETER in a restaurant. PETER invites YUEN-HAN to become a shareholder of his company. After reviewing their assets, the couple figure out that they still needs 2 million dollars for the deal and YUEN-HAN asks WAI-TING to borrow money from YEE-MAN.… ...

Out of curiosity, YUEN-HAN opens YEE-MAN’s “treasure box” and she finds an old pawn ticket inside. YUEN-HAN believes that one of the three children is not YEE-MAN’s own children. YEE-MAN discovers that WAI-TING and his wife are trying to collect the DNA of the two sisters. He reveals everything to them and hopes that they will keep the secret. YU-CHU accidentally learns about YUEN-HAN’s speculation and she has mixed feelings on it. LAM FAT wants to find an orphanage for video shooting and YU-CHU voluntarily asks to help. LAM FAT and YU-CHU play with the orphan SIU-LAI. SIU-LAI gets a heart attack suddenly and they send her to the hospital. They discover that SIU-LAI’s father WING-HONG refuses to come to the hospital and they are very angry. They rush to WING-HONG’s dessert shop to question him…

WAI-TING is extremely shocked to learn that he is not YEE-MAN’s own son. YEE-MAN consoles him and he believes that WAI-TING’s mother has her own reasons for pawning him. YUEN-HAN suddenly vomits at work. NANCY believes that YUEN-HAN is pregnant and she gives her a pregnancy tester. TING-WAI has got one million dollars in his bank. He decides to give them to YEE-MAN because he has raised him up. However, his plan changes after learning that YUEN-HAN is pregnant… YU-CHU is very interested in a golden bracelet but when she returns to the accessories shop, she could not find the bracelet anymore. LAM FAT has bought the bracelet for he wants to declare his love to YU-CHU. YIP KWAI suddenly arrives and this ruins LAM FAT’s plan. When YU-CHU and YIP KWAI pick up the candies on the floor, they accidentally kiss each other. YIP KWAI suddenly develops feelings on YU-CHU…

YIP KWAI is in love again and he asks LAM FAT to help pursuing YU-CHU. YIP KWAI stops AH-NUI from eating fatty foods and he hides away his chicken buns. YEE-MAN wants o help YIP KWAI and he eats the chicken bun. However, YEE-MAN gets red rashes all over his body suddenly since he is allergic to dried shrimps. YEE-MAN rushes to the Chinese doctor for therapy and SHE CHI-MAN uses acupuncture to soothe his itchiness. YEE-MAN helps CHI-MAN to scare away a crazy western suitor JONATHAN. YEE-MAN has a good impression on CHI-MAN. He is delighted to learn that his children like her as well and he starts wondering if he should find a new partner… While chatting with LAM FAT, YU-CHU loses her balance unexpectedly. LAM FAT holds YU-CHU immediately and he kisses her accidentally. After the kiss, the two look into each other’s eyes affectionately.

LAM FAT announces that he will compete with YIP KWAI to pursue YU-CHU. After kissing LAM FAT, YU-CHU realizes that she has fallen in love with him unconsciously. YU-CHU meets up with her old classmate TSUI-SZE and TSUI-SZE discovers from her Tarot cards that YU-CHU’s prince charming has arrived already. After quarreling with his girlfriend, KWOK-MING indulges himself in work. In order to revenge on his rival in love, KWOK-MING asks YU-CHU and the others to join a tug of war contest. LAM FAT discovers that his father AH-NUI is against YIP KWAI all the time and he questions him. AH-NUI reveals that he knows that both of them are fighting for YU-CHU. After the tug of war contest, YU-CHU returns home with a huge diamond ring and everybody is shocked. AH-NUI encourages LAM FAT to carry on and LAM FAT decides to declare his love to YU-CHU. LAM FAT invites YU-CHU to dinner and he brings the golden bracelet to the date.… ...

TSUI-SZE meets up with LAM FAT and they realize that they have known each other since childhood. LAM FAT has promised YEE-MAN not to pursue YU-CHU. He deliberately ignores YU-CHU by chatting with TSUI-SZE all the time. When YU-CHU returns home, she meets an old woman who is looking for a cat and she accidentally captures the most wanted man. While having breakfast in a restaurant, the KO’s family meets Junior Uncle and his family there. Junior Uncle humiliates YEE-MAN and YU-PO cannot bear to fight back. YU-PO accidentally discovers that Junior Uncle’s daughter in law is pretending to be pregnant and the hatred between the two families is deepened. YU-CHU finally realizes that YIP KWAI is in love with her and she is very surprised. YEE-MAN learns that the rent of the pawnshop will be increased shortly and he is worried.… ...

Junior Uncle suddenly faints and he is sent to the hospital. His son CHI-YUNG accuses YEE-MAN of murdering his father. He requests YEE-MAN to pay him 30 million dollars or he will sue him in court. LAM FAT suggests to AH-NUI that they should sell their house to help YEE-MAN and surprisingly, AH-NUI agrees to do so. A woman called MEI-YEE suddenly comes to the pawnshop to redeem her son she has pawned thirty years ago. TING-WAI meets up with his mother MEI-YEE and he decides to go to America with her for she agrees to give him 30 million dollars. YIP KWAI persuades LAM FAT to continue pursuing YU-CHU. He even meets up with TSUI-SZE for he wants her to stop fantasizing on LAM FAT but… YU-CHU discovers that somebody is following her and she is shocked to see the most wanted man in front of her. YEE-MAN and LAM FAT discover that YU-CHU is being attacked. They rush to stop it and LAM FAT is injured while trying to save YU-CHU…
